Learnin'
Thanks!

I haven't had much to post on this forum lately. I use the search feature often to find the answers to questions I have. However, I know one of the reasons post their work and answer questions that may seem obvious or trivial to them is to help others. If no one responds to these questions or the pictures of their work, they would stop posting. I just wanted to let all of you who post help on here that I appreciate you taking the time to show your work and answer questions to those of us starting out. Especially....

Barry! Obviously, but still needs to be said. He spends so much time helping others and does so happily and willingly. He knows the reasoning behind the answers, which is huge for me. It's hard for me to just blindly take advice unless I know why, and he can always seem to explain things clearly. His pricing is great on his products and he listens to his customers. He keeps us updated on any problems he may have heard about, and new techniques as well.

JimC! Many of my questions are related to custom painting. I've always admired flake, candy, pearls, etc etc and so that's what I want to learn the most about. Even if I just paint my small projects like shop doors, fridges, etc, I just love saying I did it. Jim has helped me countless times on advice about spraying candy, what can go wrong, what products to use, and without him I'm sure I would have had to redo many things.

ChadS! I absolutely love watching his builds, he is completely humble despite his amazing talent, and I can completely understand his urge to never stop learning. Watching him learn metalshaping, even making it seem easy sometimes, has me completely envious! He works on all kinds of projects, muscle cars, restorations, custom pickups... too many people these days don't appreciate quality work just because the style isn't to their liking and he seems to do most everything!

Rusty428J! Absolute perfectionist, great at showing every step of the way, and his build threads are among the funnest to watch! I love seeing his updates and I have picked up many little tricks watching them. I'm still trying to get my masking as smooth as his....

Shine! Even though we may not always see eye to eye on how the advice is delivered, he has tons of experience and has very high standards. He spends a lot of time helping others here, and one can usually assume what he says is gold.

There are so many others that have given me help on here, whether they know it or not. Although you may not have directly answered my questions, I have spent much time searching and often times gotten answers without needing to start a thread because of your informative posts/threads.

To those of you who are most inspiring, I hope someday to either be able to visit your shops or have the money to send a vehicle your way (Rusty, if I ever get a Mustang....). For now, I hope this lets you know your work and time is not wasted on us here.

Thanks!!!!

I agree with you completely. This forum is the most professional one I have ever been on or read. I have also learned so much from all who have taken time to respond to questions that people have. I also say THANK YOU to everyone on here

Hey thanks,, I'll try to post a little more often.. Not sure what is in the air but lately things have been rather hectic!!

Thanks, Mitch. I can't take the credit for masking that is all Brian. He also makes my spraying look good with all his wet sanding and buffing.

I totally agree with Mitch. I've been on here a short time and have received great help. Thanks to all for your patience with the inexperienced.
Also, SPI is like no other company I've used before. Nothing but PERFECT customer service every time I've ordered or had questions.
