Storing sanding blocks and DA

Just curious. I have a set of Dura blocks. Regarding storing the blocks and my DA with paper on it. Leave the paper on or take it off? If I take it off all kinds of dust and such gets stuck to the surface. But on the other hand if I leave the paper on and come back a week or two later, the paper is stuck on good and usually rips and I have to pick off the remnants.
How do you guys store your blocks and DA?
Thanks guys.

Id say its all personal preference. I usually take the paper off of mine Blow them off real good. ( I also keep mine stored in a tool box)

I store mine with the paper off and in a box sideways. if I have to clean the flat surface I'll use a rag with some thinners.

Store them flat, paper on, because mine all have dust buildup on them which keeps the paper from sticking. If i do get residue builup I use something like PPG DX330 or SPI 710 and clean off the adhesive then coat them with body shop dust (primer body filler dust etc).

I store them sideways so as not to bend in the middle and possibly take a set when I expect not be using them for a while. This is for the larger blocks being they do have some flex.
