Do i need flex additive in clear?

I get that question daily, if you did I would make as it is one of the most profitable things to make.
Here are 3 coats of base with 2 coats
of 2100 production clear our most brittle.
If you flex a bumper this much you will be replacing.

For how long it stays like that ,,i did stop using flex additive 2 years ago.
 
funny, i think its been 19-20 years since i found spi. i remember calling to order the very first time and my first question to barry was how flexible is the clear and does it need flex additive.
 
PPG has discontinued their DX814 flex additive. I don't see a replacement. I thought I read a long time ago it only slowed the cure so you could install the flexible bumper cover in a day or two and not risk cracking the paint.
 
Good info. I figured I'd do a search before calling with the same question.
