I am doing an all over paint job on a 2006 Honda Odyssey van and need some help with the plastic bumper covers, The covers look like they have spider web looking cracks in them. What is the fix for this?

Epoxy after you strip the present paint off it.
Honda bumpers when in raw plastic are a nasty fix, so in catalog under 700-1 is a step by step procedure so follow carefully.

Thanks a lot Barry, The customer say's just paint over the cracks because he don't want more cost than what he has. I told him the webbing will show through the paint and he said that is fine? Now what does this do in the future?

2 coats of epoxy will stop this if present paint is stripped, most likely its the paint doing this not the bumper.

This is same reason we load the epoxy on the real old vettes, epoxy more flexible and stronger than gell coat so the hairlines are not coming through, like it will with just a primer and paint.

Order a $90 1/4 epoxy call SPI and find out who is your local supplier.

I appreciate all the help and advice, My friend gave me some white epoxy primer and activator to get the bumpers sprayed.
