I have a 70 Monte Carlo that will be receiving a roof skin and vinyl top put back on. Should I be concerned about a chemical reaction between 3 coats of spi epoxy and vinyl top adhesive?

So, I don't need to top coat with anything?
A waste of time and material?

Thanks. I know about the issue with Ospho. What's the best surface rust treatment under epoxy. I'm replacing the roof skin and want to properly prep the supports.

Media blasting is the "best" prep for rusty metal. If or where that isn't possible, depending on the amount of rust, usually a combination of sanding and using a phosphoric acid product like Ospho. Do a search here for ospho and you'll find plenty of good info.

Glass bead and crushed glass are the same hardness, but beads are smooth for polishing and crushed glass is all sharp edges.
As Crash said, crushed glass is ideal. Steel has a Mohs hardness of 4.5, and glass is 5.5, so its harder, but not enough to be a problem
