Been asked to paint some parts on a lawn tractor. Customer already used acid etch. He's too cheap to pay to remove it. Could I go to Tractor Supply and get a single stage and go over the etch?
I was blown away when then guide coat revealed these finger tracks on this day old clear. I had used a 600 disc with a scrub pad backing. So many straight lines.
I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds here, but, I'll risk it.
I learned last week that Barry has retired and won't be available for technical support. His number will be or may already be disconnected. The new tech line number is the same as the order line.
I'm sure I speak for everyone here...
I used an aluminum cup on my lph400 for the first time today. It sprayed so much better than with the PPS cup. FYI: if you have an old style SATA cup, it fits perfectly.
Gonna do two bumpers and fender in Kia R4R red. Would a quart be enough of Wanda if I use a ground coat? I could do a final coat of my Standox if needed.
Quote was $146 for the QT.

#1- Harbor Freight 30 gal. Barely makes 7 cfm. When used for my mobile work produces a really nice finish.
#2- Quincy 80 gal. Makes 17 cfm. Finishes are horrible. A lot of peel.
Does this make sense to anyone? I've complained about the Quincy ever...
