Hi guys, was thinking of trying Urechem candies on a car, anyone use them? Who makes the "best" candies, are they all similar? I was thinking Urechem silver base and then their apple red candy, followed by Universal clear. Thoughts?

I'm not certain, I have used some SEM trim black on some trim moldings and ran out. I would like to use SPI matte black if it's close for the remainder of the job.

I agree that they are expensive. My question is why do their expensive clears often have a yellow cast and their cheaper clears are crystal clear? What is creating the yellowish cast, there must be some advantage or not?

I think it may make a difference on certain colors. I'm just uncertain why some expensive clears are crystal clear and others have a yellow cast and are also expensive.

I still use my NR2000 1.4 for base and epoxy sealer, still sprays very nice. I think I bought it in 1999 or 2000, can't remember.

Hi guys, co-worker has bought a new truck. Would you recommend any spray-in liners, or suggest going Line-X? I'm guessing Line-X would be more durable? Thank you! I know SEM, Uphol, etc make liners...but are they nearly as durable and UV resisant?

I like my Flex rotary, seems to work well.

I personally use the rotary for everything. I just switch pads, compounds and polishes depending on what I'm trying to achieve. I think techs that exclusively do detailing rely more on the d/a type buffer/polisher. I've heard some people say that removing swirls is easier with a d/a polisher and...
