    Gas Tank Cleaner & Sealer

What are you guys using to clean an old gas tank out and seal it? I have rinsed it out with water and gotten most of the rust flakes out, but it still looks pretty crusty inside. Ospho? Vinegar? Muratic Acid?

    Wet sanding SS question

Obviously never used Scuff Stuff before, but once you're finished with it, do you just clean it off with 710, or water, or how?

Spraying my favorite color - White

I agree with you, and that's what I try to do, see the wet edge of the previous pass and the paint atomizing out of the gun. But when you're stretched to the limit to reach the center of a roof, you see what you see. Like Crash said, you go into robot mode and hope for the best.

Spraying my favorite color - White

Thanks guys, I'll give it a shot. Worst that can happen is I spray 2 more coats (like I was planning to do anyway)

Spraying my favorite color - White

It really is my favorite color on a car, but I HATE spraying it. I don't feel like I can see while I'm spraying, and I have trouble seeing scratches when color sanding. Anyway, I sprayed the roof of a car over the weekend, 3 coats of SPI single stage white. Walking out of the booth I thought...

    Epoxy Color

I like grey the best. I don't really need a guide coat with the grey or black, but many use it. Like Don said, everybody has their own method. (You definitely need a guide coat with white, but you weren't asking about that)

    Single stage questions

I get that you are applying more paint, but I'd still like to see the process. So 600 on a hard block, I assume a straight line sand, like you'd sand clear? Recoat, then start with 1200 for the final color sand?

    Single stage questions

I wish I could see a video of this being done. I've always been too chicken to start with paper that course.
