So the doors swing open to paint the insides and then you close them to paint the outside?
Yeah, they're pretty easy to manipulate. Just have to be careful because if one is fully swung out and the other in, the assembly can get a little tipsy. I usually try to keep them positioned the same for stability. I touch them with my fingers through the large hole on the inside of the door so I'm not leaving marks that you'll see.

We have a box of various adapters to handle most doors. Usually it's just a matter of finding the correct thread, the vast majority being M8 now. The ones that give us problems are the ones with welded hinges. Whoever came up with those should be drawn and quartered. If I had to do it again, I would have done the base differently. It was very simple to build, but the stability is not as good as it should be. Even so, we've not had a door fall over. Couple of close calls is all.
 
Oh, I see. I thought he wanted just the white top. The darker blue will look good with the original two-tone scheme.
