What method are you using to remove the seal sealer at the roof?
Small chisel to break off the larger chunk and then a Bristle Disc to get the channels clean.
I am sure one of the pros may have a better way, maybe they will enlighten us?

This is an old one I found in a tool box I bought at an estate sale. I have some better quality ones on order now.

If you find a good way to replicate the "chrome" around the outer bezel, please post! I've made several attempts, and the only good solution I've found is buying a repo.

The cost of the reproduced bezel is about $45. It would cost more for me to bring this one back from the dead. I ordered the Bezel, new mounting hardware and the replacement Circuit Film from LMC Truck less money than most places wanted for just the Circuit Film.

Right on. It must be water based paint. Well, the one I wiped out anyways.
Yes, I found the water based W&G remover to be quite aggressive when I used it to wipe down a panel between coats and it removed the paint.
Great stuff for getting bare metal completely clean but for most of what I do, the solvent based is the go to.

Very interesting way to restore a truck. It looks great and having stuff painted that soon in the process would give me hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel! LOL. Nice job.

Emergency brake was a bugger to get out. The owner told me he had to press on the pedal a certain way or it went sideways.
Turned out the pedal arm was bent.

Disassembled and then cleaned up the vent rods on the wire wheel, Here you can see what a difference it makes:
