2K Primer and Strainer

Do you guys strain the activated primer before pouring into gun? Or is it not necessary with 2.0 mm tip?

It takes a while for the 2k to flow through the strainer and I wanted to verify that doesn't separate beneficial components of the primer.

The tip doesn't have much to do with it. I was just thinking out loud that a bigger tip would be less likely to foul up???

I will strain no doubt.

I use 400 micron strainers for high build and slicksand.

I use one of these for everything, primer, base, clear, I just rinse it out
in a cup of thinner after use and blow it out with air.
Much better than paper strainers that can actually leave lint.
These stainless strainers can be had on Ebay for a dollar.
