3m Fast and Firm 8505 of epoxy ?

Finished shooting epoxy on the firewall on the 55 today. I need to put some seam sealer in the outer cowl area where it meets the A pillar. I have used the 3M Fast and Firm 8505 on another project, but not with SPI... Is this a good choice ? If not what ? If yes, should I shoot more epoxy when its dry or move on to 2k when I am ready ?
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't use any of those old solvent based seam sealers, it will work but they dry out and eventually shrink/crack/fail down the road. A urethane or epoxy seam sealer is the way to go. Fusor sells a decent urethane in a calking tube, 3M's urethane Ultrapro gets my vote-I've never seen it fail since it was introduced in the late 80's.

Thank you Bob, If only you knew how much aggravation these air dried seam sealers bite people, I get the calls and would never use one.
Some are better then others and when asked I try to give the names of better ones to use, but I don't like it.

A couple months ago I went into the paint store. They didn't have the Fusor, so I asked whats a good sealer that you recommend? Just went out to the garage to see what they sold me.... 3M Fast n Firm 8505. :( glad I didn't use it yet

My favorite, how about some pictures?
She's a bit of a mess...Here's the firewall when I started. Look at the big chunk of bondo that came out..

I smoothed some of the firewall seams and will finish with the top seam when I weld in the new cowl piece. I'm slow...

Primer hides a LOT...my bad
