Trying to be the best me, I can be
Maybe a dumb question Don, but why did you call it a "science project"?
I guess because it was all new to me, putting a complete C5 suspension and drivetrain under a trifive Cameo pickup. There was a lot of measuring and calculations to get it to fit with the right ride height. There was always a risk the truck might be a failure and ride like junk. Plus my engineer sense of humor liked the name….Maybe a dumb question Don, but why did you call it a "science project"?
The reservoirs hanging off the coilovers? They are just gas reservoirs afaik. I assume they are needed because of the small shock body needed to fit on the C5 control arms.Is that an accumulator?
Dusted off the Cameo to make some suspension upgrades. I had JRI coilovers in my 69 Camaro and the ride was excellent. Hoping for the same result. The C5 factory Z06 fiberglass transverse leaf springs just can’t take the extra weight of the truck. Close, but not quite.
