Been working on this truck for years. So hard to find the right color to paint the entire truck. Just though I would share my personal project.

Everyone has their favorite color, so good luck on getting anything more than an idea. Lol
To me, it always came down to original in restoring, but when I bought the car I looked for colors that do well at auction such as
Red, orange, blue, and black, depending on the model of the car.
One of my favorite colors is the pail yellow of the 60s, and spi made that color for a few years, but I walked away from several cars that color cause its one you love or hate, and you just narrowed your selling market.

If you keeping the truck only person to please is yourself!!

Nice looking truck. I always like to start with the colors offered on the vehicle the year it was built - or at least colors that were available for the make. Those designers had a good eye and the colors often fit the lines. From there - if it is a common vehicle or color - a few tweaks can set it apart.

Good luck with your project.

The first question I believe every person doing a restoration has to answer is: Will this be factory or custom? That sets the course for the rest of the build.
"Factory" settles all the questions about options, colors, parts, drive train, etc.
"Custom" leaves all those decisions and more to your personal taste.

Off topic, but Barry since you mentioned colors, have you shelved the idea of the additional colors you were thinking of coming out with? Two that stick in my mind are the burgundy and La Ferrari blue. I think those were two you mentioned. I bet the burgundy would be a good seller. Traditional street rod guys and custom guys would love to have a easily accessible burgundy I think.
A 32 Ford hot rod with a rich burgundy is a good looking ride.
