63 Split window restomod

Here's another car I just finished up. I bought this from Arizona, hauled it to NJ and is on the way back to Arizona BJ auction.
Epoxy, combination of Evercoat primers, Wanda base, and U.C.

pop up backup camera under the speaker grill.

On the way to BJ Scottsdale bunking up with a couple of electric Porsches (look at those monster yellow calipers!)

Looking at todays results on the Barrett Jackson site, stuff doesn't seem to be bringing all that much. Original (or mostly original) Vettes of that era are not doing big money 50-65K is what they are bringing. Lot of restomod Vettes still to come. Hard to tell the true condition of the various cars with those pics on their site. Hopefully our guy will get what he needs for his.

Restomod 66 just brought 150K+ so maybe that's a good sign for our guy.

I though it was in trouble after they came back from commercial, sitting on the down hill ramp at 150k. It finished strong. Awesome car, one of the announcers described it best, a piece of jewelry.

Back home in NJ. I thought it would hammer for at least $275k (down from my pre weekend estimate of 300). Just not as much excitement in the air this weekend because the auction was closed to the general public. Lot of compliments from everyone at the show. I'm satisfied with it, now the 59 was another story...
