All my projects...

A kicker ZX240 from roughly 2000, I have not started stripping it yet. It'll probably be a few steps back on the project list. I'm starting to collect some older car audio that I couldn't afford as a kid.
 
Haha, same....literally. Used to build systems in my head and on paper I couldn't afford. Loved the system layouts that the car audio magazines had. I'm getting quite a stash, I'll post pics someday.
 
Another non-paint side project. When I bought my shop, the guy I bought it from left some valve grinding tools there and someone else was supposed to come and get. After 5 years, I figured I could probably use them. Took this old Black & Decker valve grinder, buffed it up, and rebuilt it with all new bearings, grease, brushes, cord, everything new old stock! Can't believe I was able to find it all. Much quieter now and I guess I'll find out when I fire up the first engine whether or not I did it right.

Alot of killer projects! Love the paint work. I also dig older car audio stuff from the 90s and early 2000s. Back when the good stuff was made in USA before they all got bought out. I used to own some of the old school -----@--------- HCCA stuff. Ive got a sub thats needs rebuilding but sold the amps and all.

Its an original HCCA 12 DVC. Id say its probably 17 years old maybe. I think a dual 2. I played it a few years and it stopped. Then i put it back in the original box and its been sitting on the shelf. Still looks brand new. Apparently a voicecoil issue probably.
 
Let me know if you ever want to get rid of it, I might pick it up for a rebuild. Don't need any more projects, but can't stop myself!
