Almost ready to paint, and my compressor dies

I had just finished blocking my 2k primer and was just about to start my sealer on a couple parts and my compressor broke... Again. Just a word of warning to those shopping for the box store compressors.
Bought a husky 60 gallon last month. 2nd day and the pump pulley fell off. I put it back on and torqued it down, and it fell off again. Loctite 242 kept the bolt in this time. Then the noises and slow refill started. I was planning on returning this POS, but figured I'd run a few parts with it. Well, it's going back now. Thing won't turn on. Has power to the switch, bit there's no way I'm going to spend any more time on this thing.

Zoro has a 20% coupon this weekend, so I picked up a 2 stage Ingersoll Rand. Hopefully this one lasts me some years instead of days. I should probably start building a pump house and get the compressor out of the shop.

At the old place, I had three cheap big compressors from the two big box stores within hald a mile from the plant.
They were good for 5 to 6 months, and the reason I bought was a lot of filling was done at night, and if we had a 300 gallon batch of activator and compressor broke, I could pick up a new one and install around the 30 mins to max an hour and finish filling.

When we sold that building, I gave all 3 to the new buyer and happily bought 2 Ingersoll for the new place.

@Desertguy , The lower end Ingersolls are no good now, I hope you didn't buy one with a fast running pump and motor. Motor RPM should be about 1750 and pump RPM no more than 1000.

Well, that's not good to hear. Pump rpm is 1575, motor is 3150. I picked up the 2340L5. Was $1400 everywhere, but Zoro had 20% off, so 1250 with tax. Damn. Hopefully this one doesn't crap out soon. Supposed to be delivered Tuesday.

I don't use a ton of air in the shop, except for this paint job, so hopefully it'll hold up.
