I had just finished blocking my 2k primer and was just about to start my sealer on a couple parts and my compressor broke... Again. Just a word of warning to those shopping for the box store compressors.
Bought a husky 60 gallon last month. 2nd day and the pump pulley fell off. I put it back on and torqued it down, and it fell off again. Loctite 242 kept the bolt in this time. Then the noises and slow refill started. I was planning on returning this POS, but figured I'd run a few parts with it. Well, it's going back now. Thing won't turn on. Has power to the switch, bit there's no way I'm going to spend any more time on this thing.
Zoro has a 20% coupon this weekend, so I picked up a 2 stage Ingersoll Rand. Hopefully this one lasts me some years instead of days. I should probably start building a pump house and get the compressor out of the shop.
