almost there

a friend of mine was talking to somebody about that car at a rod run. didn't know him at the time but he wanted to buy it. anyway the guy made some remark about it being pink, lloyd asked him if he saw who got out of it. he told him that guy can drive any color car he wants. i was 6'6 260 at the time. but that was an awesome car. rode and drove great.

Well you got me in the height department, 6'2"but, I've got you by 30 pounds coming in at 290.

When I first built the Barracuda, I was newly married and suppost to be saving up for a house. To finish the Barracuda I made my wife part of the car by adding pink pin stripping. Pretty sneaky but it worked.

damn , 100 degrees in the morning when i open the doors. this crap is going to have to break before i can get anything done. by the time my fan pushes out the heat it starts over .

Makes me feel like a weenie. It's 75 in my shop and I'm dripping sweat on everything and grumbling. Guess I should be counting my blessings

Me too, never could handle the heat. I don't sweat much, just get sick... Genetics. Here in Wisconsin hot is 95. Trouble is, cold is -10, so on a good year mid May through October is all we get for decent weather.

well got the roof sanded this morning before the heat started heading up. about 90 when i finished. got it cleaned and ready to shoot in the morning.
will be using a vaper gun i bought at northern tools. shooting thinner is seems ok but it is different from my other vapor. it's like the purple gun from hf. tempted to use my 2.0 and turn it down. well see , as long as it's a hoser i'll be ok.

after tomorrow the heat wave returns for awhile.

well thing went well. was just able to get the roof done before my arm gave out. sanded to 1000 then tried the b/w presta pad with v32 . did really wel but a little more work than i like. da is a lot lighter than my buffer and it doesn't get hot. went to 1500 , little better but will go to 3k then buff.
