another bowser lubester

so i have had 2 of these sitting in the corner of my shop for the past 3 years. the customer finally called and said to go ahead and do one of them. manufacture date on this is probably around 1895-1910. the last one of these i did for this guy i did in the polyoil brand. i wanted something different with this one and he left it up to me so i went with signal penn. anyway these tanks arent on casters. he always wants them up off the ground so they dont get damaged. last one i put old cast iron bath tub feet on. this one i tracked down some older style cast iron casters. i blasted them and mixed black spi epoxy with some white pearl, red and yellow oxide to make a nice cast iron color. this tank was so big none of the replica decals would work. they were all just too small so i had to paint the logo. anyway enjoy!!

thanks guys! i used the spi black and red for those colors. diamont for the rest, topped with euro clear.

thanks! i have another one of these exactly the same as this one that the guy gave me. im not really sure what i want to do with it yet. i would like to make kegerator out of it or maybe even a small fridge for my deck would be cool. only problem is that would just take a boat load of time that i really dont have. maybe if i slow up this summer a little i could do something like that. if not i'll just end up restoring as a show piece like this one. i wanted to do it using the richfield oil logo. i always liked the blue eagle logo they had.....decisions decisions.
