Any Pic's of SPI White You Care to Share?

I received a white color chip from SPI that I'd like to use on my white 85 Chevy truck. but I think it might be too white. like blinding white.
Does anyone have any pic's of vehicles done in SPI's pure white base?
How important is the primer/ sealer color under the base color. My truck is white on a black primer, and the sample chip is on a white sealer. I even compared the chip to new Dodges and Chevy's on the lots, which I thought were bright, and they're much darker then the SPI white
I always wanted a brighter white but this might be hard to look at.
Thanks.

Very funny 68! :D. It’s a very tough color to accurately photograph imho….

Thanks Don, and yeah that's real bright!
Does the primer color really make a difference with something like this?
I'll take more pic's but no hurry, I'm thinking my weather window will be closed before I get to the finish coat.

Yes you should use a white sealer. This is a tough color to get good coverage. DAMHIK! ;)

Don, Is the firebird the same paint as the camaro? Might be the softer lighting but the firebird looks different.

Both are SPI white. As I said, it’s very difficult to accurately photograph. Camaro is single stage, Firebird is base/clear.

Honestly, there are better choices for white out there. I think the intention is that the SPI white will be tinted.

Don, do you have anymore of pics of the 2ng gen? Im interested in the door gaps and hood gaps.

Sure here’s one more. I replaced both quarters, wheel tubs, dropoffs etc on this car. I was pretty rough when I got it. Sold at auction quite a few years ago. I’ve done quite a few second gens over the years. Biggest challenge on that car was the factory Formula hood. That has to be the worst designed factory hood known to mankind. Also love those lightweight doors, especially ones with door beam….

Bump for the white SPI SS. Trailer freshening up. This project has been like painting a house in my spare time after work, but I'm getting there. Only problem now, is that I was thinking I would not insulate and do interior paneling on the upper 1/2, just clean it up. But after the fresh white paint job, the siding looks awful, the SS is so bright and white white. So that's some future scope creep for sure, adding gloss white aluminum sheets. I started with white epoxy inside, but snow blindness made it hard to see coverage, so I used red epoxy and grey 2K so then I could manage the SS coverage. Other SS white areas that have been repaired and done are the structural frame around the rear door and the side man door. The steel side pouches are SPI SS black on black epoxy. A little before and after here.
