best digital mil gauge?

Hi guys what digital mil gauge do you like? I would like to have an accurate way of measuring how much material I'm applying and removing on my car finishes.

Not sure, but I think the quality of the two is the same, but one has more features.

I have the ProMotor guage. Have had it for 10 years. Never let me down.

I have the Pro and I think I bought it back in very early 90s, if I recall it had just came out when I bought it, paid back then about what they sell for now or close to.

Where can I buy the ProMotor gauge? Do you guys think that's the best one? Any particular model/price?

If i remember one model just does metal. The other does aluminium as well.

I have always wanted one so I could measure the thickness after my sealer and base coat and measure it after my clear just so I know when im sanding and buffing.

Does that sound dumb?

Doesn't sound Dumb to me Orange, that's the reason why I want one, I wanna measure how much I spray, and how much I'm taking off.
