Best filler for quarter to roof junction

I put quarters on my 74 camaro. The area was leaded from the factory. I am done welding and about to prime with spi epoxy.

What filler should I use over the epoxy to fill the somewhat large recess? Kitty hair? All metal?

Also I was planning on filling direct to the as-sprayed epoxy within the recoat window without any scuffing. Is this correct?

There is an ongoing conversation here if you haven't seen already.

I just meant a glass fiber filled product not a particular brand but isn't Kitty Hair Evercoat who also makes Vette Panel Adhesive?

I'll have to look into VPA, as a polyester product does it shape like any other filler?

yes kitty hair is evercoat but still junk. just like any of those fiber fillers. they map in the sun terrible. dynaglass is now dyna-hair . new name same junk .

I've seen VPA with labels that say for SMC and and another for non-SMC. Interestingly both P/N 870 it seems.

Whats the difference and does it matter for what I am using it for?

Evercoat SMC panel bond has worked very well for this application for me for years.
Just don't pack it in, thin multiple coats and have a customer who autocrosses his chevelle I did about ten years ago and no issues.

I just sprayed epoxy over that area. I was going to put the vpa on during the recoat window. Should I apply it right over the as-sprayed spi epoxy or scuff it up a bit?
