Black cherry base

How much radiant red pearl powder do I add to SPI black base to make a black cherry base? I'm doing a H D tank and fenders for a guy and he said just make it black cherry base with clear on top. Just wondering where to start, maybe a tablespoon per quart?

All I can suggest is to make some sprayouts until you get what you want. Document the measurements on the back of the cards for future reference. Use small mix cups and measuring spoons if you don't have a scale. It may take quite a bit of pearl to actually make the color black cherry and not just a black pearl.

Thank you

This is 2 1/4 tablespoons of red pearl powder mixed with 32 ounces of SPI black base.
