Blending factory laps

What do you guys think... these old Mopars have lots of lapping sheet metal. I blasted them and I was thinking of filling them and blending them in with filler after the epoxy..... Am I asking for trouble?

I think a hint of possible ghost shadowing would be a lot nicer than that factory mess. I'd use an upgraded filler choice. Tried evercoat fibertech recently, wasn't impressed. Don Hutton here mentioned usc carbo fill, didn't have locally to try out. Just got me some vette panel adhesive as an upgrade filler for edges & profiling. Might not be a bad choice.

Id probably use seam sealer instead of filler, I would think filler would crack and or be contaminated from the back.

Im curious to see whats recommended.

Seam sealer for me, but if not, you have to weld it solid before filling. Otherwise, yes, you are asking trouble.

Just as an aside, they sure made that thing out of a lot of little pieces! Cool car, but the build quality looks a bit sketchy. Sorry if that is not a nice thing to say, just have not worked on many Mopars from that era.

Yea I am under impressed with how they put these early A-Bodys together....
