Anyone have any experience with this gun? 1st problem is very little fluid coming from the gun and narrow fan no matter which needle cap combination shooting base coat or epoxies. 2nd problem is the fan control is not working. Pattern will not change with rotation of knob. Gun has been broken down, thoroughly cleaned (all passage ways are clean) and rebuilt, torqued to manufactures spec. Gun is advertised as a “fine finish gun”. Does this have anything to do with it?

I doubt you'll find anyone here that has used this gun. My recommendation would be to return it and buy something based on advice from this forum, but only if you want us to help you use it.

Buying a gun nobody has heard of is a great way not to get help, imo.

I here you. I have owned the gun for over ten years and have used it several times with frustration.
One last hurrah?
Make sure no internal strainers inside the gun.
Open fan all the way.
Scewfluid in till it stops and turns out three full turns.
If the gun has air control open to the left all the way.
Take cap out of cup lid if plastic or test with cap off.

Thank you Barry & Crashtech. I have tried all of the above with no luck. I believe this gun has its place, (garbage can) but not for an automotive paints.

I have used various C.A. Technology guns in the woodworking industry and never had any issues with them. Currently I use CAT X model in Aerospace industry and it is one of my favorites. It is possible that your gun was just defective from the factory.
