Can wetsanding save this?

Will 600 work well enough for the clear to stick? if I miss some hidden area I take it the newly sprayed clear will just not stick to it.

After the 600, use a gray scotchbrite to get into the more difficult areas

One other note: clear flows much better sprayed over sanded clear. So don't over reduce the clear and keep your coats medium wet at best. Be sure to give extra flash time as well.

I didn't reduce at all, only used the Slow Activator. But I do have the 885 Reducer available if it'll help. Have read that 10% works well. Keep in mind I only have a 1.3 tip, no 1.4 avail for this gun. Have sanded the car with 600 and hope to respray this weekend, great weather here in GA.

Also, what is the recommended cleaner after sanding the clear coat before respraying it? Have read to NOT do wax and grease, but you can spray it on a rag first to apply then immediatly wipe off with a dry rag? Is that kosher?

This is how you are supposed to use Wax and Grease remover. I put W&G in a squirt bottle and spray it on then immediately wipe it off with a clean towel.
I only use the 710 Solvent Based W&G cleaner personally.
