Can you put on too much epoxy on too fast?

3615 is where I caught the fender 1 that already had a flashed coat on it when I hit it with by butt while bending over putting coat 2 on fender 2, and almost knocked fender 1 off the stand. I guess the moral there is, get a bigger garage, lol.

I sanded everything smooth, hoping these next 2 coats will be the last 2 of epoxy, then when I'm ready to do the final paint, I'll scuff, seal and spray the single stage I'm planning to use.

After 6 coats of epoxy (most sanded back off) and a little filler here and there I see while people use 2K. I think I may have been too optimistic that I could do this with just epoxy. Having said that, when I wet the fenders down to get the dust off, the reflections of the lights looked dead straight.

Use some 3M dry guidecoat to make sure all the scratches are gone before sealer.

I sanded and scuffed, then repainted, I think they came out nice.

What are you planning for your final grit? You’ll need guide coat if there are multiple grits on one application of primer.
