Car cover over SPI Epoxy?

KenZ

2 weeks ago I finished sealing the body of my Challenger in SPI black epoxy. I want to start working on the other panels, trunk, doors, fenders, etc. My problem is I have to move the body out of the garage while working on the other parts.

I'm in Phoenix where it's regularly over 100* during the day this time of year and I'm worried about leaving the body out in the sun for the better part of a day at a time on the weekends. I would bring it back in the garage at the end of each day.

Can I cover it with a car cover while it's outside? Or, should I not worry about it?

Thanks,
Ken

I personally wouldn't worry about it. It will all have to be scuffed to apply more epoxy later, anyway. That heat won't hurt it at all at this point.

Also to add too, cover for a day at time and not over night will not hurt a thing.
