Compatible hardener for single stage Omni

Digging around in the cabinet & found almost a full gallon of bright red Omni single stage. Anyone know if any other catalysts would be compatible enough to shoot some test panels to see if it’s any good? The paint is probably close to 25 yrs old so want to shoot a couple run outs to see if it seems to be good before dropping $79 on a quart of catalyst. Also found an unopened quart of PPG Ditzler lacquer ( also bright red) from the 60’s....

Any hardener will make it dry but how dry inside it gets is another guess by golly question.
The $80 activator will be best money you ever spent, long term.

Thanks! Yeah, just want to test it first before I drop $80 on the correct stuff. Have had old paint do some weird things in the past so dont want to throw good money into something that’s bad.

See sad part of this you can't test; as we know, gloss will be there, and curing will also either over or under.
If you can set in the sun for three years or longer, you will have a better idea.
My thought would be 2100 activator and use on something inside car that uvs cant get to.

Won’t be using it on car stuff, just old junk. Thought I might use it to shoot the inside of the panels on some old gas pump/coke machine restorations. Parts that won’t be buffed or really seen for that matter. Main thing I want to “test” is if it separates when mixed. Had some awhile back a customer supplied for some bike repair work that was the original used on the restoration & it looked/ mixed good, but after about 10-15 mins the white pigment in it would separate. Looked like it had white flake added when it was shot.
