The BCI Supply decal on the front wing is a jobber I buy material from. It cost him $1000 worth of material for a full season, most of which was used to paint the car, and I supplied the decals. Try that on a cup car! The sponsor on the top wing probably could have sponsored a cup car by now:)

I've worked the entire summer with Euro, Fast activator, 895 and retarder. Sometimes even a dash of polar and it's been simply fantastic!

Wondering how to choose the new activator and maybe control it with polar and retarder. My world is a strange one.

I don’t see any mention of blending different speed activators, I guess with back to back coats it can get a little dicey to do that if not enough clearcoat is mixed for two coats.

One front clip I did with medium I ran out of clearcoat while spraying and had to mix a little amount in a rush.

Can’t wait to try the 3103 Slow for a 5 panel job.

Speed comes at a price. First because this looks like it will be SPI's most expensive clear per ready-to-spray ounce, and second because there will need to be some safety margins in deciding how much to make for 2 coats back-to-back on any given job, which could result in some waste.

That said, it will be well worth it for certain things where real speed is needed. I know I will be buying mine immediately.

You can mix activators!

I just did not want this clear to do what the cheap ones and the private label ones do, do the front end of your Bentley or Lambo
and smile when you look at it 5 years or 10 years down the road.

@Barry , Being who you are and what SPI is, I would not have expected any compromise. My guess is that there might even need to be an enhanced amount of expensive UV additive in this material since I would bet that final mil thickness could be a bit thinner than SPI's other clears at 2 coats, depending on how it is applied.
