Critique my touch up plan and material selection

My vehicle has a 1/8x1" paint chip to the steel panel along the edge of the panel. There is no visible rust.

I'm wanting to do a localized brush application repair.

Existing paint has factory primer, base and clear.

My plan:
- feather the defect so that it has a gradual bevel from steel to primer to base to clear. Hopefully with a small bevel that exposed each layer slightly. Feather it out by sanding.
- apply epoxy primer to tie in with the feathered bevel edge of primer - Is this the right choice for primer?
- single stage paint matched (base, clear, activator mix) and feather across existing base/ clear layer beveled edges; polish;
Or -2k base feathered across existing base beveled edge followed by 2k clear feathered across existing clear coat beveled edge; polish.

Locally I can source paint matched 1k acrylic enamel for a single stage application. Though i was considering going with 2k and 2 stage for the touch up.

- if I'm going single stage, is the 1K acrylic enamel the way to go?
- if going with single stage , would it be better to go with a 2K mix of urethane base/ clear?
- Is a single stage or 2 stage spot repair the best long term fix?

my goal is to have the longest lasting repair that prevents corrosion, not absolute show quality. Re spraying the whole panel is not a feasible solution for me.

Thanks
