Difference between Euro Clear 2.1 and 2020

I have used both the Production Clear and Euro 2.1 on instruments. Both with good results. Both harden up nicely. I am considering trying the Euro 2020, but what are the differences besides the chemical change for the California market? I'm mostly concerned about hardness and gloss quality at the end of the day. Is it worth the experiment to try out the 2020 when having to buy the reducer as well?

All I did on the 2.1 when I made it was take the 5000 formula and added exempt solvents as if you mixed the 5000 4.1.1.

@ Rusty...Your opinion on Production vrs Euro?.. Ease of spraying?..Did either lay out nicer/flatter than the other?

I don't remember much about the Production because it was back in 2017. I remember the final product was good for guitars as far as hardness and look.
This is the first guitar I'm building spraying the Euro. Using an LPH400, fan and fluid wide open, and 28ish psi at the gun, I can lay down the final coats with very slight orange peel. I'm very happy with that. Although I'm not a novice sprayer, I'm not advanced at all and I'm sure I can eventually lay out the final coats slicker. It's just that guitars don't take a tremendous amount of effort to prep sand for buffing.
This is the guitar buffed with a medium cut so far.
