anyone seen or heard of this form of blasting? Saw an ad for it in bsb magazine and looked it up. Looks like just a mixture of water and crushed glass.

They recommend holdtight 102 for cleaning of the metal after blasting. They claim there is no residue left. Looks like a great alternative for soda...considering there is no acetic film to neutralize, leaves an anchor pattern, and considerably less mess.

They claim it is approved by PPG, SW, and Valspar and lists tests from them.

Seems interesting by alway weary of these new "systems." Only downfall I can see from it, is that it might not remove the heaviest of rust and you are submerging the baremetal essentially in water. That makes a lot of gus cringe...but really is not an issue if it is blown dry.

Anyone have an experience or information? Going to ask our media supplier if he has any info on it also.
