Epoxy/grit question.

Will the epoxy reduced as a sealer fill 180 grit scratches?

I have the whole car blocked with 180. It was rough and I used multiple coats of unreduced epoxy to fill and get it straight. But now getting it straight with the 180, I have some breakthough spots and some areas where the epoxy is very thin. I am afraid that if I go to 400 and then 600 blocking, I don't have enough mil depth to get there without making a high spot mess.

So thinking of spraying some reduced epoxy as sealer/filler for the 180 to get some mil for the higher grits? But I don't want to put on too much that I have to block it for another two months.

Bad Idea????

Any input would be greatly appreciated as I am a near novice/ very non professional to this stuff and old and my shoulders and back hurt from all the sanding so far. :)

I wouldn't trust anything bigger than 320 to do any final blocking..not much fill with reduced epoxy..trying to take out a 180 scratch with 400- 600 is asking to see scratches in the final job
