Epoxy or 2k primer over metal glaze?

Hi everyone. New to the forum but very appreciative of the wealth of knowledge on here. Extremely helpful. Thank you!
I am restoring an antique pedal car (fire truck to be exact). My steps so far:
1. Sandblasted everything.
2. 2 coats epoxy.
3. Body work, including Evercoat metal glaze. Sanded to 220.
4. 1 coat of epoxy (note: some blotches of the metal glaze could still be seen after the epoxy dried. I didn’t think it was a big issue, since I already had 2 coats of epoxy, and this coat was more of a sealer than anything, and I figured the primer would even it out.
5. 3 coats (5-10 minutes between coats) of 2k urethane primer.

Then much to my disappointment, I have more small dings that need glaze. I have attached a picture.
My homework tells me that once the primer cures, I can hit it with red or green scotch pad, or 320 sandpaper, then hit it with the Evercoat metal glaze.

The question (finally!) is what next? One wet coat of epoxy? Maybe thinned 20% or 30% as a sealer, then base? OR one or two coats of the 2k primer, THEN a sealer coat of epoxy, then base. Since I was planning on spraying the reduced epoxy as a final sealer before the base, I am wondering if I can do that next. I’m a little concerned about spraying the epoxy next because when I sprayed the epoxy over the Evercoat (above), it was a bit splotchy, and I’m worried the splotches will transmit through the base. I have attached a picture of the splotches as well.
Thank you for any thoughts or advice, I really appreciate it.

Cool project!
My understanding is that you don't want to put filler over 2K, so at least a sealer coat of epoxy before more filler.
Why metal glaze? Polyester filler will be fine for that and easier to work.
Then guide coat to check before next paint stage.
Filler always shows through epoxy, it is no problem, base will cover it.

IMO, you need full strength epoxy (minimum 2 coats) over filler if using it as a surfacer. I would not trust a reduced coat of epoxy over filler, then base. More 2K will also work at this point, but whatever you spray next, it will need to be sanded. I would block what you have so all the low spots show up before repairing or spraying anything else.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I thought that the 2K was supposed to be mostly sanded off, just remaining as filler in slightly low areas to even out the panel?

2k gets abused everyday by Shops, most of whom have never heard of epoxy,. Used correctly 2K Urethane is primarily used to fill and level. That doesn't mean that most of it has to be sanded off though. The condition of the body or panel one is working will dictate how much is left after sanding.
