epoxy question

Hey guys, I have a 68 camaro that I did a complete rotisserie resto on 20 yeas ago. I've gotten some nicks and dings over the years so I'm going to give it a quick respray. My plan is to sand it down with 400 and then do the minor body work that it needs. Should I epoxy the whole thing after sanding down or should I just do the body work, epoxy sealer and basecoat? Thanks
 
A lot of it depends on what you are spraying over. BC/CC , SS, or lacquer will all give somewhat different answers. What condition is current finish etc. If current finish is good then spot prime areas you have redone and respray. I have seen 20-25 year old paint jobs that are in great condition.
