epoxy sealer over slick sand

Hi Guys,

I'm getting ready to final sand my doors and there will be a few spots of slick sand showing through, but sanded down smooth with say 600 (it's on top of epoxy)

If this is the case will 1 coat of epoxy 1:1:1 be enough, or should I do two and give it a day? I'm worried that the epoxy will seep into the slick sand and show in the final product.

dont worry about it. i have cut throughs to poly all the time. i just do a coat of sealer and go right to base. poly doesnt "soak up" like bodyfiller would.

My epoxy never seeped into the slicksand at all. The slicksand still acts like a primer in that sense, not like bodyfiller.
