Factory Five Cobra Replica

Arrowhead

Oldtimer
Did the bodywork and paint for a local guy. The car was complete and road worth when he brought it over, but the glass needed a lot of work. Custom hood latches, relocated trunk latch, fiberglass repair around side pipe exits (caught fire), rolled fender lips, full SPI bed liner undercoating, powder coated all the panel hinges/brackets, painted PPG GM Atomic orange with ghost stripes. All SPI epoxy, 2kHB primer, bed liner and UV clear of course.

That looks awesome. I'd like to do a Factory 5 Cobra some day. I have to ask though, what are the 6 extra pieces of tape in the picture where you masked for the stripes?

Thanks for the kind words. After researching a lot here and other places, I bit the bullet and threw down on a new Sata 4000. Literally made painting a breeze, so worth it.

strum 456 - the tape is holding the trunk lid aligned. The hinges attach to the chassis and since I have just the body mounted on a buck, I had to use tape to hold it in place. Same with the hood.
