Slick Sand is the same, not black of course, but a noticeable color difference between sanded and unsanded, works like a guide coat. I use black epoxy under it so highs are obvious as well.
Same thing with super build. They make a super build optix that goes on pink and turns gray when you sand it. Supposedly easier to stand. I think the regular super build sands fine though. The optix is cheaper and I plan on giving it a try but I'm still on my first gallon of super build.

I don't think I would be comfortable spraying Pink paint.

Matt (TexasKing) has been using the Optex and loves it. It mixes 4:1 so it's easier for someone new to this to mix. (no counting drops:)) TK hasn't been posting much lately due to some health issues or he would give you the skinny on it himself. Irregardless of what PP you use you want to sand it with a coarse grit. I use Sunmight green film 120 grit sheetrolls. Any of the PP's will sand great with 120. Plus 120 levels much better than even 150 does. Important to sand as much of it off as needed.
Everyone keep TK in your prayers. He's a good guy.

You can still screw up 4:1. Don't ask me how I know.

I feel confident as a man enough the spray pink Optex. If anybody ever dug into it, God forbid, they would only see gray. I'd be the only one who would ever know. ;)

You know your old school if you know what pounce powder Is really for. That and a Beugler.
I still have an overhead projector. LOL...
