General question!!!!

I believe in you guys and know that you are giving the correct advice. I was reading through the forum yesterday on stripping. Some guy was saying if you use a flapper wheel you have to come back with DA 80 grit because of smear marks or something to that effect. Can someone give me the correct process to strip, because this is the way I had in mind. I was basically going to use use angle grinder with flap disc. Any recommendations as to what are the best products to use. If the one one from lowes and home depot are no good for the job please advice with a step by step process because Im to print this post out as a guide. Thanks guys

I like to use a sander/buffer with a soft backing pad and 40 to 80 grit stick on paper. You need to be gentle with it but it will cut it quickly and only require finishing with a DA and 80 grit paper. You do need to be careful and not gouge it with the edge of the paper.

There will be others that can give you good advice on paint stripper but I usually fool with old junk that has so much paint on it paint stripper is a pain to use.
