Green Bubble Wrap in SPI box

I just received an order and the box was lined with green bubble wrap. No Styrofoam bottom or peanuts. Is this bubble wrap biodegradable?

I just got 2 boxes today with the bubble wrap and the cans looked like they had been dragged behind the UPS truck instead of in it. No leaks, but definitely beat up worse than normal. Unreal how bad you would have to treat the boxes to damage the cans that bad.
 
Yes, it is biodegradable.

We have the machine and doing a test run, so all feedback is welcome.

This is more costly of a process if we go with it, so we are not doing it to save money.

So let us know as we started Tuesday, so probably 600 more people have or will receive boxes by this coming week.
I look forward to the reviews, PLEASE.
 
My cans were damaged by the other cans in the box. You can tell where the quart cans slid into the gallon cans so hard, it dented the gallon cans in almost 2 inches. The top of the clear can was damaged also like the box was dropped from several feet. Not complaining, but the peanuts seemed to work better at avoiding the ridiculous treatment these boxes get.
 
Barry, I prefer the peanuts. I live in a semi rural area so I have a big leaf compost pile in the back yard. I just toss the peanuts and when it rains, like never here in Texas, they just disappear. They don't go in the landfill. +++
 
I text Barry this morning that I received a package this morning with the following damage. I wasnt complaining in anyway, so please dont take it that way. Just giving feedback on the new process.

When the original peanuts were outlawed in specific city's, we changed to the present type, and the problem is when one of the peanuts smashed, they do not expand back to the original shape like the old ones.
So trying to make the cans arrive in better shape.
We are learning, and thanks to you guys Brian and I have some other ideas we will work on Monday.
 
in addition to not expanding back as quickly, the current starch peanuts can shrink during transit in high humidity areas- this opens up space in the box for the products to move around and smash into each other.

was your shipment damaged at all?
 
I didnt know the peanuts were biodegradable. All this time ive been running around the porch and yard chasing peanuts in the wind when i unbox my spi stuff!
 
Just received one can of clear the other day and the can was damaged pretty bad...still usable just had to kinda bend it back into shape! I have another order that should be here tomorrow! I'll let you know how it looks!

yours should have been packaged in peanuts? we only ran the air wrap Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. It amazes me that a single gallon of clear in a box by itself can get beat up like that in such a short distance. maybe this second one fares better.
 
P.O. doesn't charge me extra to stamp Fragile on boxes.
If same applies to spi, incorporate Fragile to box graphics.

I spoke to Barry today! I received the order I'm talking about on this past Friday! I sent Barry pics! It's still usable by all means, just figured since y'all were trying new things I would let y'all know!
 
You guys have been a big help.
Two different test Boxes were sent to my house I received yesterday, and we will open
Today to open, another different box sent to Miami jobber with a return label we should have back Friday to open.
