Grey Epoxy mixed with bedliner or color?

Doing a porsche gas tank that was originally gray like epoxy. It's sprayed gray epoxy but needs some texure on the bottom half. Can I mix the two for gray epoxy color with bedliner texture. Would this work right?
 
I don't think so! Epoxy mixed in a urethane doesn't sound good at all. You could shoot the bedliner then after it kicks spray a coat of epoxy to get your color.
 
Call Barry to be sure, but if I remember correctly he told me I could use any good base coat toner to mix with the bedliner to get a color. Other than white, white bedliner will turn yellow with time.
 
Thanks, I've done the base coat thing, I was just hoping to skip a trip to town and know I'm getting a perfect match.

Bob's procedure will work fine. I was trying to be lazy.
