Just looking for recommendation for at the gun PSI setting for this product? I set it at 24psi and it seemed to lay down nicely...

Thanks,

Pete

What size fluid cap? I think a 1.4 is recommended for epoxy with pressure at the gun between 26-32. If you like the way it looks at 24 then I'd stick with it.

My usual recommendation for a 1.4 is 28 lbs with the trigger pulled.
However, this week had to repair the rear of a full-size SUV.
Well, I don't work on anything that big and realized 25 years ago I built the play garage too small.
With a sata 5000 1.4, I shot the gray epoxy unreduced as about 20lbs as some spots I could not see and spraying blind, laid perfectly, and shot blue metallic over without sanding.
As I say, a few times a week, it's whatever works for your conditions.

"With trigger pulled"...Are folks always referring to 1/2 trigger or full trigger?..... Just air or air with fluid?.......

Trigger pulled means whatever your gun settings are, when the trigger is fully pulled. Example say a Sata RP 1.3 , and I'm using full fan and 1.5 turns out from closed on the fluid. Full trigger would be with the trigger pulled with those settings.
It does not mean trigger pulled with the gun wide open unless that is how you spray.

Thanks everyone! I am using a 1.4 LPH400 with silver cap. I will play around a little on the hood to see how much difference. Once I find the sweet spot I will finish the body...
