gun recommendation for blue metallic

I'll be spraying a dark blue metallic (Wanda) shortly. I have an LPH400 and Sata 5000 B rp (want to keep this dedicated to clear). Is there a better gun I can use to shoot the base besides the LPH400, assuming my spraying technique and gun setup are good with it?

Cant think of a better one than the lph 400, I have the purple cap for nasty metallics but have done silvers and one blue pearl coat and forgot to change caps and it did a beautiful job.
Mine is a 1.4 and look at 90% wide open fan and 2.0 to 2.5 turns out with a silver cap and 20-24 lbs at the gun with the trigger pulled.

Will that gun do a pretty good job with SPI clears too? I'm also doing a metallic blue and I don't mind buying a couple of different guns but the base is the most critical so I'm leaning towards this gun but it would be nice if it would shoot a nice clear coat as well. Or should I consider a specific gun for clear? Is the main difference between the silver cap and the purple cap just the cap or does the needle and nozzle change as well? I've painted a half dozen cars and Jeeps with Binks and Sharp siphon guns a long time ago but I need to get current for this next car. Thanks for a great forum.

The newer Iwata supernova Entech, the one with the green air cap is a very nice base coat gun. For clear I like the older W400 Iwata or the new Supernova WS400 HD in 1.4 size.

The LPH400 is also a very good clear coat gun, maybe just a little slower in material delivery than the guns I mentioned previously.
