Gun "spitting" any suggestions?

This is what I'm getting. While area is covered in them.

That's why I don't like Devilbiss. Spray great, but too many plastic parts that go bad way too soon.

I''ll bet the rebuild kit solves it though. Good luck.:) Lube it regularly in those areas. Got to do it for it live anytime. Mineral oil works OK as does Vaseline if you don't have any proper "spray gun lube".
Used the Devilbiss Prolite for the first time since rebuilding it, to spray black epoxy on the Suburban project. Worked great. Good tip about keeping it lubed. I use spray carb cleaner to clean the gun passages, tip, air cap, needle after each shoot and I'll bet that dries out the packing etc. The carb cleaner works great to quickly dissolve the paint, but there is probably a better, less aggressive way. Open to suggestions.

Open to suggestions.
Lacquer thinner and urethane reducer are all I ever use to clean my gun. When time permits I break the gun down completely to clean it. Nylon bristle brush and pipe cleaner type brushes work well to clean with. And there is one brush that you get in the paint gun cleaning kits that works well for cleaning the inside of the nozzle. It has bristles like a paint brush which can get inside the nozzle.
