Juan's auto sales

I've used alot of different clear infant a affordable durable option that I can buff the next day

I've sprayed a few speed clears, and this is the only one I would ever recommend. Durability is fantastic. The solid content is higher than any major clear, it is not watered down to make it dry faster, and flexibility is excellent, also. I wouldn't use it on more than 3-4 panels, but fender/door, front end, or bumper jobs it can't be touched by any clear at any price, IMO. Larger jobs like completes, the Euro clear (5000) is a good option, and can be buffed the next day. Both are a true polyurethane clear, and top quality.

Thank you man

i have recently started using the spi speed clear as well. this is after using universal for about 20 years. this is a fantastic clear. this is not your typical speed clear that dies back and loses gloss and depth like all the others i have ever tried. only other one i have shot and liked was sikkens autoclear pc. both of these clear are some of the nicest i have shot. spi stuff lays out like glass and stays that way. its a 2 coat clear and like mentioned there is no flash. if you wait 5 min between then that is too long lol. odd but true. i have been doing a 4 coat process with this clear for artwork reasons but its really tricky and i havent 100% worked the correct process out to make it fool proof yet so more than 2 is not recommended or even needed for normal work. 2 coats after 24 hours and the clear buffs easy. its not rock hard at that point but its definitely hard enough to work with and give to a customer where it will not fingerprint.

I think you're going to find terms like "universal", "speed", "euro" and "production" aren't the same as other products. These are of a different nature. The owner/chemist and techline all have the same name and it's Barry Kives.

I've never seen a clear I couldn't buff the next day.
Even the soft ones.
You can even add accelerator for cool weather slow downs.
I usually add just a pinch more activator, that helps.
Man this junk I'm using is to soft you touch it.scraches bad

You will not have that problem with the speed clear. It does not get so hard that it won't buff, but it will not fingerprint after 90 minutes, in most cases. Works really great on bumper covers that have to be handled.
