Dub Administrator Aug 29, 2010 #2 The 1/2" hose allows more cfm and is worth the investment. My compressor is hard piped in 1 and I run 1/2" to my regulator and then 1/2" to my gun. The only draw back it the 1/2" is heavier.

shine Member Aug 29, 2010 #3 you also need hv fittings . there is a difference. i believe the 3.8 hose will work with a quality gun .
