How are you guys cleaning your epoxy guns?

Get one of those gallon or 5 gallon cans of carb dip with the basket inside, and soak the cap in it overnight. Remove, rinse with water, and blow out with compressed air. This will usually do the job. Sometimes welding tip cleaners might be required, but they have to be used very carefully because they can damage the air cap.

P.S. Use heavy gloves and face protection when dealing with the carb dip, it is seriously nasty stuff!

Sorry for the late reply been away. Much appreciated for the tip!

Hobby user with 3M Accuspray gun here: Squirt bottle with lacquer thinner. Toss nozzle after a few uses. Wipe needle with lacquer thinner soaked rag, look at old Binks gun and recall with disdain the time I've spent thoroughly cleaning every nook and orifice on it. Seems to work fine, no issues with epoxy. Definitely a fan of the Accuspray!
I started using these for primer. I like the transparent head. It's nice to look thru it and see it's clean.

Aerosol carb/choke cleaner works great. It dissolves any paint and evaporates quickly. The spray action works great to blow out the dissolved paint.
I pull the air cap, nozzle, air needle and fluid adjuster and spring after every use and spray them quickly.
Amazon has a great cleaning kit, everything you might need for less than $10.

definitely a fan too, leave the cup off, take an old quart bottle of expensive reducer and fill it with your acetone or lacquer thinner and you just pour a little bit in the PPS attachment in the head to spray it thru. Makes them last alot longer. We use this for military paint, the chemical agent resistant coating because it dries like concrete and will ruin an expensive gun no matter how hard you try to clean it.

I have had no problems at all with laquer thinner to clean epoxy, I usually wait 30-45 minutes between coats.
