I NEED HELP WITH A SMALL TOUCH UP

I have been working on a Monte Carlo for my friend as time permits and have the rear bumper painted and cleared over a week ago, I sprayed 3 coats of Euro and waited 4 days sanded and sprayed 4 coats of Universal. Today I nibbed and buffed the bumper and all looks good except I burnt through 2 small edges about 3/8 inch long each. The color is Burgundy Metallic and I was wandering if I could tape off and spray those 2 spots and clear just those spots or do I have to re clear the whole bumper? I don't know how to blend clear without showing edges, I would much appreciate you guys pointing me in the right direction.

The correct way would be to spot the color and reclear. That being said, ever since I have started using SPI blending solvent I have had zero problems making a blend. Hand compounding past the clear edge and putting a light coat on the edge, the blend completely disappears with no compounding needed. Stuff is awesome. I used to sand past the clear edge and blend within the scratches, then buff, which worked most of the time, but every once in a while it would not cooperate. Using the blending solvent per the directions has worked every time.
